    If your using an average player like an ipod then yeah there is no point, the main thing is that your limited by the amount of space on your ipods... the best advantage that the sansa range has over most is that is support microsd, i can easily have a 40gb player. I dont have to much music so to actually use that space id appreciate getting the extra audio quality.

    the clip is also one of the best sounding portable music player, and with a vast array of playable formats . I do have some beta M2's which are damn good phones so another reason to use some good lossless format, will be getting a Fiio E5 or similar amp soon .

    Already got 2 new cd's as i managed to find them for £3-£4! Shame the rest are..... £10+

    I can tell the difference between high bitrate MP3 and FLAC on my modest portable setup (ipod 5G, Fiio E5, UE SF Pro 5)

    PS: I wouldn't recommend the Fiio E5, they break to easily I have broken two and given up!
