msn message

When I start msn above my contact list is this message: You can still chat, but some features might not be available because of a connection problem.

Now this does not appear on my parents msn on the home pc, and my connection is fine in my room (wired from router via netgear wall plugs)

I did read that hotmail had done this in response to some virus affecting IM programmes, and so disabled hyper-links in message windows. I just find it odd that I have it but my parents/sister don't.


So does anyone else get this now?

I get it now and again but I have a terrible ping/line quality

My internet speed is fine (over 10mb) Got the message after I could not open hotmail in firefox, but a few days later I could again. Very odd.

I get this, but I assumed it was because I am steadfastly refusing to upgrade to the dire new 2011 edition of Live Messenger.

Yep, Im still getting it but I cant see what effect its having, everything works fine here.
