    I'll see your 1984 reference and raise you a more direct reference: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/18/te.../18amazon.html
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I thought that was why you'd made the reference to 1984!

    Re: Amazon goes 1984 on kindle customers

    It's slightly different this time - last time (the orwell/1984 issue) they remotely took the books from everybodies kindles.

    This time they've removed the books from sale, and from online archive, but not removed it from your personal kindle (..and we should be grateful?)

    So if you bought the book, its still on your kindle, but you can't redownload it if YOU delete it,
    nor can you put it on another kindle app on your account.

    Power corrupts - and it seems Amazon is prone to deleting/removing ebooks on a whim
    There's been a few previous instances:
    Orwell/1984
    The Macmillan incident
    and bizarrely refusing (for a while ) to ban a paedophile guide http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11731928

    Now they're removing all ebooks with any mention of incest

    BTW there's alot of incest in the Bible, wonder if they've removed all copies of that , too:
