i'm quite suprised that people start watching tv if they have no internet, that would be the motivation for me to go out and do something else, i know it's cold but just start going out with friends/family.
i was without internet for 3 weeks when i first moved into this place, there was a lot of early nights!

OTH,a combination of earlier nights,playing Mass Effect,watching Babylon 5,Red Dwarf and Jeeves and Wooster did occur!

vti, my girlfriend and I spent from the 22nd Dec to 9th Jan (with the exception of Christmas and Boxing day), averaging 8 to 12 hours a day cleaning and organising our new home.
Judging by the the thickness of the grease all over the kitchen and the dust & dirt over the rest of the house we reckon she hasn't cleaned once in the entire time she lived here.
Add to that she left all her rubbish in the front garden, old cooker in the back garden, 100s of boxes in the attic and somebody elses stuff in the shed.
"...go out and do something else..." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Of course I'm perfect you just need to lower your expectations.
