Dixons are closing loads of stores down and selling off the stock. So if thers a small store near you it could be closing, and they are selling most stuff 50% off. Also you can haggle with the manager. Not online but could work out cheap.

At the moment no shops can beat sky buys prices. They had a philips 32" flatscreen for £449 and a finlux 28" flatscreen tv for £175, they are both well under half the price other shops sell them at. The service was quite good, I ordered a finlux tv and recieved it 5 days later

Problem with SkyBuy is that the deals come and go very quickly, a bit like the Tekheads lucky dips. (I got a 32" flat wide samsung for £250 though )

Dixons closing down sales may be a good idea if theres one near to you, but if theres not then here are some sites that are generaly quite good:

    www.qed-uk.com
    www.unbeatable.co.uk
    www.empiredirect.co.uk
www.dixons.co.uk - you can use the discount code "pricerunner5" for a 5% discount, which can be very useful.

And also price comparison engines are quite good:

    www.pricerunner.co.uk
    www.kelkoo.co.uk

Yeah the deals at Skybuy are ok - they charge an arm and a leg for delivery (up to 28 days) so it isn't as cheap as it first looks.

Skybuy's delivery is £25 but its not that bad considering 32" tvs weigh 60kg
