I'm watching it, very enjoyable. I have no problem with the Royal Family tbh, they do a lot for the country imo but if they started to do outrageous things with their power I'd change my tune.

yes it happens every day, but get off your bloody horse lads and live with the fact that in this day and age, famous people get the limelight over a traverse activity that gets done every day(in this case a wedding).

I wish you lot loosen up a bit and enjoy instead of the hatred. dont want to watch it? fine turn the tv off or switch the channel or go out? what i dont understand is the "hatred and bashing towards it"

We have just as right to hate/bash it as you do enjoy it. If i want to discuss how daft i think the whole thing is while watching a documentary on explosives, thats what i will do. I don't understand why people are so excited and interested about it but im not going to try and tell them they shouldn't be.

What are they to me? Frankly I'd get more giddy about hearing the marriage of the young one of a 3rd cousin of mine. At least then it might pang some string of emotional resonance.

I don't mind it. I wish them all the best. Is amazing that (apparently) a third of the world is watching the event. The prestige, emotional clout, advertising that the royal family brings to the UK is beyond comparison.

I also appreciate that being born into the situation brings it's own responsibilities, a la Spiderman. Where we can hope / wish / dream of doing anything, as we grow up, these royal peeps have a certain path to their lives they can't easily opt out of. You can get all cynical about it, but not interested. The Queen / Charles / and now Will haven't been dictatorial / belligerent in their roles, and long may that last.

They ARE the world's most famous royal family. Quite amusing for a small country off the coast of Europe

Its actually fantastic value for money IMO, think of the world wide coverage out little island is getting... if this doesn't bring in more tourists then nothing will!
