    Arrow Nochex change

Fantastic news - as of noon on 16th June it will be completely FREE to load and send money with Nochex. So you will be able to spend spend spend and you won't be charged for the privilege!

    .....

Note: From this same date if you receive any money you will be subject to a receive fee of 20 pence per transaction and 2.6% of the amount received. It will be free to Withdraw over £50 but there will be a 25 pence charge for withdrawals of less than £50. Please note: the new charges will apply to ALL transactions (debit card, credit card and transactions from one Nochex account to another).

    * this bit made me laugh, considering they sent the mail in text format.

Could work out more if you recieve large sums via nochex.

Now all we need is a service that charges you to send, and receives are "free free free" !

A small fee for both senders and receivers would be a better way to do it. Would stop people adding their nochex/paypal fees onto the final auction value - something I have never done - I consider those to be part of your overheads as an online retailer/seller. Hardly ever use Nochex now anyway.

Sorry to bring up a dead thread....

I am well ****** off with nochex, just got charged £6 for receving £200 and the old way would have been a £3 charge
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

Thats it - I am closing my account; we will be back at the direct banking thing and cheques soon - why sell something for 100 if they take 2% jokers... not like they pay interest for the money whilst they hold it

i've stopped using paypal and nochex, especially as ebay say you're not allowed to ask for any fees from your buyer... it's quicker and simpler just to do on-line bank transfers, or for people to pay cash directly into your account at a local bank branch...

Online bank transfer is a lot better imho. The only problem with it is that it takes a few days - if there was an instant way it woudl be great. Ive used nochex before, and I hate it.
