This is important and deserved a BBC news article.

I am pleased by the BBCs professionalism in that they even spent the time talking to the local council to get "a genuine error was made by staff" statement from them. I was at a loss before this.

Could you imagine the shock at walking past this sign in a morning? Thankfully the BBC also managed to interview someone who went through this horror:

He said: "They were picking up the old sign and packing it in the van to drive off and I assumed they'd be back to fix that and put that right.

"I checked again this morning and took some photographs because I thought I'd either dreamt it or can't have seen it properly - but the sign was still upside down.
We need to deploy the London protesters to the doorstep of this council immediately.
