Hello.

I had my 18th birthday on Tuesday, and recieved cards/pressies etc.

Today i got what looked like a card through the post, so opened it up (it was addressed me btw...) and i had could a card from The Link, with a leaflet inside saying now im 18 i can have several phones free if i get a monthly contract.

Now, this would be all well a good IF i had actually ever bought anything from them!!! I have a free i could as a result of my mum's upgrade (contract with car phone warehouse) and went out a bought a payg sim from vodafone.

So it is beyond me how The Link have my details.....after much rambling we come to the point.

How do i get the link to get rid of my details from their computers?

It may be that you have given your details to wnother part of the dixons group? i.e. pc world, currys, dixons etc but dont think that they will ever take you birthday details.

If you write off to dixons ho then they should be able to remove you from their mailing list

Hadnt realised they were all the same group....i usually try to aviod filling stuff in with my home details.
