    Was it grey hairs? Stress and all that, i've got a 19 year old mate with lots of grey hairs. Scary thought

    my big cousin was completely grey at the age of 20, but it was heredatory and he shaved his head after a collision with a rock

    Gap year? No fraid not, top up fee's are likely to be introduced in 2006 so I have to go to uni in 2005

    Whilst straying wildly off topic, Top-Up fees won't apply to our year my dear if we decide to take a year out, one of the things the government has decided recently. Which is nice

    I posted something that I thought was funny, but then I re-read it and thought the better of leaving it there, so I edited it out! It was pushing the boundaries of the rules in this sub-forum and didn't fancy a ban just for having a bit of a laugh!

    I didn't think to post in this thread while it was actually ongoing, but having read it I might as well. Doctors tend to see so many genuine hypochondriacs they usually don't care if you go to them with something that's not very serious, as long as there actually is something wrong with you. As for the embarrasment factor- lots of lives have been lost, and many more illnesses made more serious than necessary just because people were too embarrased to go to the doctors. I don't particularly like stripping off in front of strangers, but 5 minutes of embarrasment is better than days or months of pain and illness.

    i went for a medical for the RAF once, never look at a "doctor" the same way again
