    The part I don't understand is how so many people use WASD. What a terrible contortion of your fingers! I used to play Q3 very heavily, and actually got cramps in my left hand from that key combination. Which is why I changed my bindings.

    Take your left hand once again, flatten it out into a comfortable position, and let that lie on your keyboard. This is how I got the keys I now use - ERTZ. :>

    I'm a simple guy who has to use the arrows keys in games
    It just seems more logical with bigger buttons for jump etc around it

    Its not really a bad shape imo.

    When I sit at the keyboard my hands are not at right angles to the keyboard. They are sorta turned inward to the keyboard itself. Just seems to work quite nicely with WASD. Only time I get cramps is in m right hand cause I don't use a mouse mat :

    I dont understand how ur fingers could be on WASD when they're all clumped together, ur fingers are either really small or u have a deformed hand? :s

    when Im browsing I tend to be leaning my hand, using it as a head rest :\

    though, normally my hand does come to land on WASD... all those games over the years..

    I would have gone to ASDF if BOTH hands were on the keyboard, but with one hand on the mouse, it's WASD baby!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I remember when my left hand was conditioned to go to ZX and my right hand was going to JNK (From the old Speccy game days)

    And then when i first got a PC the left hand was conditioned to go to the cursor keys, and right to the mouse.

    Playing FPS changed that to WASD and right hand mouse.
