tbh as long as you have accidental damage cover, they would have to prove it wasn't accidental (which they cant).

One scenario, Mrs decides she doesn't like her carpet and decides to 'accidently' spill paint on it, our company goes out to value it but the insurance company have no way of proving it was deliberate so they cover it. The joys of 'New for old' policys or 'Old for new' as some people say on the phone.. lmao

Yes you will lose your no claims (unless its protected) and your premiums will probably go up next year.
