    Thank you guys....

I know it's not easy when someone changes your online home - we've seen so many people do it and mess it up.

We have done a major change on these forums and we love your feedback and how keen you guys are for us to make it perfect for you.

We are happy to make sure we do all we can to make the HEXUS forums the best online experience for you

    Cheers,

    David

I'm getting used to it now, there's still a few bits and pieces that will need to be changed before its perfect, but absolutely great job from the Hexus team so far!

    When's the next upgrade then?

    Re: Thank you guys....

Still need to remove the 'Thread started by USERNAME, on DATE,TIME' on pages like this..

    http://forums.hexus.net/general-discussion/

Looks much neater if you just have the USERNAME beneathe the thread title

    Re: Thank you guys....

Ah right. It's a matter of personal opinion, but personally, I don't think the start date of a thread is required. It makes the screen look a little 'busy'. But each to his own

Last poster date/time is always required

The new layout does look awesome though

I agree about the clean interface, but I do think it makes it a little easier to spot when threads are current and when they're old ones that have been bumped, which may affect your post in the thread.

As always, it's a question of functionality vs aesthetics

I like it a lot, really clean and fresh. Compliments to the designer.

Still some oddities floating around though. Like the images for the Support forums:-

It's looking good and I'm happy you're now on tapatalk as I finally got round to trying it haha. One annoying thing I've noticed is on the mobile site the hexus logo(at top left) just takes you to the home of the forums... It really should take you to hexus.net I.e your homepage with all the articles like it does on the desktop version(iirc?)
Other than that it's nice, still getting used to things and maybe it seems a bit odd with all the thread icons its something I'll get used to and is better than before

That has been debated many, many times, but it's always linked to forums.hexus (afaicr) If you want www.hexus you click on "Home"

[e!] - Alas only links I can find on this is from 2005 and 2004!

    Re: Thank you guys....

oh im not fussed on the desktop site, its specifically with the mobile site as there is no way to get to hexus.net without typing it in manually, the mobile site just needs a home or something tab which is why i thought maybe change the main icon to link it to there.

Thanks for pointing out that the desktop site is actually to the forums, i just click home if im honest .
