PC World...need I say more

Just took the kids to Pizza Hut for a treat & ti just happens to be opposite a PC World. Now, I recently purchased this case http://www.pcwcomponentcentre.co.uk/invt/jnz751a from their online store as a specific request for someone I'm building a PC for, (their money, they can have what they want). Now £20 is a fair price for a mediocre PC case. Go into your local branch & it's £46!!!

Not believing what I saw I quizzed a member of staff at the components desk (just after he advised a customer they'd need a new HDD when they so obviusly had an attack of MS Blast ). And the price is 'catagorically correct sir'. WTF? In disbelief I shot down to the nearest other branch about 20 mins away & that thar case was............£54!

Even after I payed for the afformentioned case to be delivered next day/evening specific delivery it was only £34. I expect items to be a bit cheaper online but....?

Typical PC World, guy i knew used to work in tech support department, no training or anything, totally stupid, prices OTT, but people STILL buy things from them?!

Hmm, I do despise PC World now. I buy the odd book from them if I need it quick but I tend not to bother with them, its just a rip off really.

PC world are teh Devil - but unfortunately - on a saturday afternoon when you just fried a card or summat - and you need a replacement asap - sometimes, just sometimes, its the last port of call......
