The Nik-Naks Advert!! Top or what??

I dunno if this has been posted about before, but has anyone seen that fantastic Nik-Naks advert on the telly?

For those of you that haven't seen it, its a rip-off from the scene in 'Alien' where the baby alien bursts from John Hurts stomach as the crew of the Nostromo sit down for dinner.

Instead of blood and gore though, the 'crew' are covered in a burst of Nik-Nak powder as a huge Nik-Nak bursts out of the guys stomach... they all stand there in stunned silence, the guys hands twicjhing just like in the film, then some groovy disco music kicks in and they all start dancing.... its an absolute classic!

I'm gonna go hunt the web for a link, but feel free to post it if you find a vid of the advert... it HAS to be seen!

It's an advert mate, they want you to watch it. They're very frequently posted on the net for all to see.

I thought the ad was a bit gross actually, but I was very drunk when I watched it I seem to recall.

Wether it's a advert or not it's still copyrighted and as such it is illegal to post a link to it unless the company that owns the copyright allows it.

God some pople don't read.

There fore if the company that owes the copyright post a link then it's no illegal to have it.

How ever it may still be illegal to store such ad, it all depends on the company.

Is this established case law or your opinion?
Are you a copyright lawyer?

There have been several cases brought before the Courts to try to stop deep linking to News stories that by-pass advertising screens etc. that have failed, so I don't see where your "it's illegal to link" ideas are coming from. Also, if you're right, then of course ANY link to ANY page will also be illegal because EVERYTHING on the Net is the copyright of somebody.

Email "nik-naks" and tell them that their advert is being publicly praised on a big forum... they will only laugh..
