i dont know whether i think google should put a maps app on the iphone or not. If they dont, people could jump ship back or rethink their buying decision however at the same time, this pettyness really does my nut in and is what caused the problem in the first place... even if it was apple that started it.
Even if Google do go down their own map app its a couple of months away i would think...

This probably has more potential to harm Apple than any Apple/Samsung court case, as it affects the end use of the device. Most iphone users couldn't care two hoots about some court case in America - they will care if the mapping application gets them lost when they are looking for a restaurant or a railway station.
