Pretty self explanatory. Group of scientists crash a 727 in the Mexican desert. Well worth a watch.

Saw this advertised last night. Looked really interesting.
Will watch tonight when I get home.
Taped it and watched it this morning, well the crash bit at least! I've. Ow decided to NOT ever be a pilot and will always sit y the back>middle of a plane
Don't think I'll be watching that then as I'm going o be undertaking my first flight in the next few months possibly.
Ah damn, was this last night? Was gonna watch it, will have a look on 4od. So the advice is to sit towards the back then to best avoid death? I'm flying to Greece in a couple weeks, better get the right seat lol. Not that I think it would crash hehe
Now I have the chorus of this song in my head:

Shame I can't watch it from here
goddammit forum, why ask me if I want to leave the page when I press send :|
anyway, ill use this one - another forum had a pretty ace thread going on it, everyone had booked themselves a seat on the website and the after crash fallout from those that had died or survived was great.
Seat 7A

It's also usually the strongest structure in the aircraft - the wings and the bits that hold them onto the fuselage have to support the entire weight of the thing when it's airborne.

I was always told that the far right hand seat in the last row tail section was right above the "black boxes" if that's true and that's the one part they want to survive then i'll sit above them
Seems to me whenever you see air crash footage the tail section always seems to be pretty well intact.
Honestly though I don't think it makes much difference where you sit, a quote I read somewhere about sitting in the tail says it well:
"Sitting back there won't help you, though. When you mix stuff in the Cuisinart, you think it matters which end of the banana went in last?"
