Just wondered as I checked my Azeurus stats and discovered i was up to 722 hours since my last restart
All day every day
As long as I need it to be on
Few hours a day just for browsing/msn etc.

I want to leave it on, and like PrivatePyle just reboot when something has chuffed up. I have alot of friends that leaves their computer on as long as possible. I wish I could do it too, although my parents won't let me do that. Of course sometimes I leave it running for a whole day (when I'm at school) but it has to be turned off before I go to bed.
Love, Peace and Linux
Leave it on all day and turn off when I go to bed, sometimes leave it runnin all night but not very often
I leave the dining room one on (since it's the least used room) all the time - I reboot once a month.
Mine stays on when I'm at home. All the time. If I go out for more than a couple of hours it gets turned off. I never leave it on overnight.

I used to leave mine on all night... but it's so anti-socially noisy now... my room could be a corporate server room - the machine can be heard downstairs....

if war is the answer, then we are asking the wrong question
2 things i hate the most - xenophobia and the french
"chuffing"
Word of the thread = chuffing
i leave mine on during the day, turning it on when i wake up then turning it off before i sleep. So same as quite a few people here i suppose.
You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?
i have mine on when i'm playing/browsing/downloading, but i have to turn it off at night cos its chuffing noisy - its got 6x80mm fans in it
building a small mule system which will be quiet that can stay on all the time
I've got 2 PCs....... only 1 is on 24/7 and the other PC is a games machine.............

24/7 - only reboot to adjust clock speeds, install new items and/or clean filters on my fans.
If I can sleep with my girlfriends drunken snoring I'm sure a few fans will not bother me
server on all the time, laptop on all the time (both downloading etc) and main desktop only when i need it.
