Did bring back some memories though, I used to despise text adventures when they were around because I basically couldn't read! I also remember my brother getting one of those Usborne books with a type-it-in-yourself text adventure game. They were a nightmare to type in and never worked because we were ten and had no idea how to debug them! Ahh the memories.

Tell you what though, a text advebture on the Vic20 had and still has far better graphics than Doom3... purely cos its all in your imagination....
btw, has anyone else found the cave with the tinderbox but no flint?
I think I saw a flint lying on one of the gravel paths, but I was too busy clicking through and forgot to grab it...
Ah so does anyone remember "Wizards Challenge", had the Hobbit one, also had the Lord of the Rings, which I think was 4 whole tapes....only completed Wizards though.
