    I just got back too Kez, was nice to meet you! And nice to meet all the others too, David, Directhex (better luck next time matey), Stoo, Scottyman, Rave and others who I can't blooming remember now... I'm terrible with names sometimes.

    AAGHH, I hate being pictured..... (on the right with a sexy Hexus t-shirt on handing out flyers to win the Hexus PC - thought I was only going down to say hello! )

    It was a fix mate, Directhex's motherboard didn't have labelled connectors so he couldn't tell which ones to plug in to power it up. Had to refer to the manual! He was caining the other guy up until that point, and had a nice looking build, rather than the DVD drive being pushed about 2" out of the front of the case!!

    Dude, that should've read "The first 20 HEXUS.net readers at the event will get a HEXUS.net T-Shirt and 200 flyers to hand out to unwanting passers by!"

    Still, was a laugh though. Managed to get a few foreigners to take 'em even though they couldn't speak English!

    Yeah but Allen, your leaflet distribution skills were awesome!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    It was a cracking day and good to see so many people turn up and support HEXUS.

    I'm absolutely shattered, its been three solid days of slogging all over London chasing down rumours and getting interviews with people.... I even had to fit in a job interview for a something for me to do when I leave Sainsburys!

    AM pleased that you guys all enjoyed it, we had a great time...

    Fatal1ty is a top geezer and very, very good at what he does. He's number one in four different FPS's at the moment, and winning the world championship on Doom 3 after only have played it for a week and a half is pretty impressive.

    His trick is to learn the maps by heart, know where every item is and learn different routes through the maps. He can tell where you are buy whats missing from each map, and I saw him back off and come in from a different direction several times. The key thing was when he took a pounding from a rocket salvo was that he backed off, went and got some health and armour and then came back... if any of the challengers had pressed in their attacks and gone after him, we might have seen a frag going against him.... I guess it goes to show that reputation can help win battles too.

    Nope, no-one took a kill off him... he even did his party trick of going up against a fully tooled up challenger and fragging them using just the flashlight... not once, but three times!

    Oh my head -
    wanted to hang around and party with the hexus legends (and fatality of course - but more fun with hexus! )
    Got roped into a dinner - Deckard - Leopards Leap Pinotage Shiraz is a damn fine wine - and feel I can safely comment after 4 bottles last night - I somehow thing you guys all had more fun despite this!

    It was great putting (real) names to faces - and hopefully we can organise a few more london sessions.

    Scotty
