    Damn wasps next at work…

Ok being a typical young boy me and my dads badminton racket won and lost many a war with the wasps, but a few years ago I got stung on the side of my head and had a massive reaction… it was pretty nasty and now they have nested outside my IT suite and keep coming in one at time through this small whole, they are flying around like there drunk crashing into all sorts including me, end of season I guess.. Someone is coming to treat them soon, but I’m not sure if I can hold out, I swear I keep feeling them in my hair

I have massive reactions after wasp stings - normally consisting of genocidal slaughter of every little malicious 6 legged yellow and black little bar steward in the local vicinity.

Get a jam jar with some jam left in the bottom, half fill it with water, and place it near the nest. Works a treat and distracts them for a good while too.

You do know that when you kill them they release chemicals that attract more and make the angry to boot?

Bung it up if you can? Newspaper, blue tack, old sandviches, 'no-more-big-gaps' expanding foam stuff, anything.

Good luck with them anyway, remember that a big can of Raid can be quite theraputic but you really need to open the windows for half an hour to let the fumes disapate, which of course lets in more of the littel bas... Have you considered skiving off until the pest-controlers are finished on the grounds of an unsafe workplace?

Why would dying wasps want to attract other wasps? If there is something killing them you would think nature would have them tell other wasps to keep away?

I cant find anything on the net about it, anyone else?
