    Angry Avoid this damn case!!!

    COOLERMASTER WAVEMASTER!!

yes it has a removable mobo tray for easy installation etc and the backing plates where ya add-in cards go remove easily with those "twisty by finger" screws (lol dunno the name) ..

BUT... the front 5 1/2" drive bays are a TOTAL ARSE!!! u unscrew the screws and the just turn..... and turn.....and turn.....and turn.....and turn......and turn.....and turn....and turn and then become THREADED!! and u cant remove with without prizing (sp?) them!!!

    damn stupid ass case!!

    thumbscrews

Im guessing the drive bays are the same as any other CM? You mean that u kept on turning it even tho it had no resistance instead of just tilting the case on its side a little?

This is the first ive heard of this problem and ive spoken to loads of ppl with the case :/

tbh any case will do that, including my 201. not a major problem.

what is a major problem is thubscews for 5.25 and 3.5 bays. i use thumbscrews throughout where possible, but sometimes they just aren't long enough... (the drives aren't as wide). you have to resort back to a standard screw.

anyone know of a source of longer thumbscrews?
