mmmm cow in the shape of patty [drools], im hungry. In 10 hours on friday at work I finished 44 hours of my time plan so went a-celebrating, 11 bottles of Bud and no ciggies! It is the minor victories that shape the significant. Whats more my hangover was not as bad as usual due to the not smoking (the abused lungs make me feel worse it also dehydrates me). Anyway B..Jimmy get back on the wagon, get the weakest nicorette you can buy and chew when you are stressed at work, if the stress is not work related, i wish you luck.

Nice one m8, you know its worth it, I have saved a small fortune whilst not smoking (although I am not drinking as well we saves extra).

Probably best part of £300 in 2 months, no joke

To be honest if I gave up now I wouldn't be able to quit again soon, the disapointment would rock me, so fair play to you m8, to commit to it again so soon is ballsy.

Don't be afraid to talk to friends around you about it, if you are struggling tell someone, talk it out.

Its tough m8 but I am sure you will manage it eventually.

Bah fair point, my diet is.... well err.... I eat whatever I want really, never had a weight problem at all, and whilst I don't think I am eating extra since I quit, I ate loads before.

Pulled my thigh playing 5 aside last thursday so can't excercise (apart from the obvious ) for about 4-6 weeks, which is depressing really, but I will be fine.

You could go out on your bike? The one from the skip? 5 minutes on that will lose you at least a stone

    Jimmy's Banned dude

Had to give up the smoke's myself as I suffered a collapsed lung a week b4 xmas. It was a very painful experience, which was probably casused due to 18 years of puffing away on ciggies.

So far it's been going 5 weeks, and it hasnt been too bad, got a test 2mora 2nite as it will be my 1st social event in a pub as a non-smoker

I always find weeks 6-8 the hardest, but got no choice this time as "Da Missus" has threatened to cut off my danglies if I spark up again

Well Done Daniel for hitting 4.5 months
