What phone to get which is cheap but worth a lot ?

    Hi,

to cut a long story short, considering upgrading my phone but will probably sell it on ebay straight away as i'm happy with my P800 but should upgrade for the sakes of it ....

I was considering the K700i which sells for about £150 - £200 on ebay at the moment...

any others then i should consider ?

    thanks

It all depends on how much your average phone bill is per month. My friends and I are constantly paying on average £100 per month, so when the 12 month contract is up ANY phone will opt for is free.

The K700i is a really good phone, slightly girly for my liking, but still a top phone. If you like your P800, why not upgrade to the P900 or wait a little while for the P910? Got a P900 myself, and absolutely love it, did a side by side comparison with a P800 and it blew the P800 away in every department....

The P900 isn't worth getting anyway, since the P910 is already out in Singapore and should be in the UK within the next couple of weeks. The display can handle more colours, it's got more memory, it's got an upgraded software package (though it still runs SymbianOS v7.0) and it's got a small keyboard on the inside of the flip.

I would assume that P900 prices on ebay are falling rapidly on ebay and if the phone costs you £300 on contract then it's not worth the risk.

That's insane. What are they SIM-free? £250-£300? I know that they're pretty darn cheap considering the specs.

P900, indeed..it's really worth it. Although I would say K700, but it's not cheap I guess. But as said above P900, go for that. My father has got a P800 and he loves that one, he carries it with him all the time and he uses it for work etc. The thing with the P800 is that it's a bit thick. The 900 is better, since it's more slim. A really nice phone actually, I've tried it.

Of course it depends on what you want to use your phone for. If you want a simpler one then I can recommed t610 or t630. .

    Good Luck

P900 can be flashed to the P910 firmware. Borks your bluetooth but gives you everything but the keypad and improved screen of the P910. I may get mine done soon as it's almost out of warranty and I need IMAP folder support.
