These sort of things do sadden me but they anger me a lot more, I don't admire this trait that I have but I do tend to angry more often than feel sadness.

They want to treat a puppy like a football? I see how they like getting treated like a hockey ball with my Carbon Fibre hockey stick...

    Perhaps it's more moving because:
1 - The puppy suffered and died, the baby came out unharmed.

2 - The people kicking the dog were doing it for fun and continously, where as the couple with the baby were pumped on adrenaline, on the run. No excuse, but I doubt they did it for amusement or took pleasure in it. At least, I hope not.

As for those kids, if anyone knows who they are might I suggest a game of Hexus football?

I fear for the coming generation, I really do. The scum we seem to be breeding these days know no depths, it seems.

This just in - I've heard from someone over here in the US that they came across this story and supposedly dumping the baby was a 'compassionate' move - something about how he knew the chase wasn't going to end well, so he slowed down, dumped the baby out and then sped off again.

I'm really one of the least violent people I know, but seeing that article on the puppy really made me want to hurt someone... badly. There really is just no excuse for that, no posssible way that what they did was not pure nasty evil. The guy with the baby was stupid, irresponsible, and could have killed the baby, but I don't think it was likely to be malicious, I think it was probably more of a panic thing.

How some people can say there is no good and evil, no right and wrong, when these sorts of things go on is beyond me.

Baby wasn't throw from window at all, he slowed down to 15kph (whilst not exactly stopping its slow compare to the 160kph the chase got up to), and opened the door.

"I think it was more that he set the baby onto the roadway and because of the speed, you know there was some speed involved, the baby slid, but no I don't think he threw him on the roadway, I think he had a concern for the baby," says Pamenter.

I really wish I could find the story online, but I guess that it wasn't a big enough story for that. Round where I live, a gang of lads out one night walking their dogs (two pitballs IIRC) were grabbing cats and throwing them to the dogs who fought over them...

I hate the world we live in sometimes!

I just get so F**king sick of this world sometimes.

TOO many times do you read news about defenceless animals (babies, kittens, puppies etc) being abused, neglected and generally not cared for, because of the stupid "i don't care" society that we live in...

once again, i think we should as hexus members support a charity each month that helps the people who care for these people / animals (RSPCA, Childline, etc etc) most of us can afford at least £1 a month, and the amount of members we have should be enough to raise some cash for them. (e.g RSPCA inspectors to bring people to justice for kicking puppies around playgrounds.) Just a thought, but who'd be interested?

And yet we seem to have a story here about a guy that cares, and no one acknowledges it, first post in this thread says it nearly brought a tear to his eye, imo this is just as tear jerking, nice to know that the society we live is not just full of ignorarant inconsiderate pos.

    Point noted...

It is good that we've got a community here at hexus who does care, quite obviously... and for those people, it's nice to know that there are other people like yourself, who do care.
