I'm always happier for the first few weeks of a season, then I get bored and long for it to change. Normally I'd say I prefer summer but this year it's been awful; all humid and clammy and unpleasant, so I'm looking forward to the winter, for now.

I'm extremely affected by the seasons and the weather outside. Hm, it depends on how the "winter-day" is shaping..if it's a nice snowy day and the sun is shining then I'm in a better mood. But if it's grey and boring then I usually gets a bit down..
The fall it's usually getting me in a very low mood actually..well the fall as season it's usually very nice, all the colors and so. But then all the bad things that I've kept inside usually comes out...
Summer and spring is better . You gets lighter..

I get a bit annoyed with winter after Christmas, but I don't mind it to start with.

<nitpicking>Would that be summer solstice? I though by definition the equinox (lit: equal nights) were in spring and sutumn, and the soltices were in summer and winter?</nitpicking>Originally Posted by Elmo
Have to agree that summer is better, I can never wait patiently for the leaves to grow back on the trees, it can all get a bit too miserable in January and Feb, even March isn't great
But overall I'm a fairly optimistic soul so it doesn't bother me too much.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.
Its all a state of mind! Summer is deffo upbeat compared to Autumn/Winter but there are so many things to look forward to in Winter - like Christmas and New Year celebrations - its not all doom and gloom!
Also personally I think its lovely to cozy down on your sofa wrapped in a lovely warm jumper drinking warm drinks! And its a blimmin good reason for a few alcoholic drinks too, to keep out the cold! (Not that I usually need one!)
Personally I like Winter, prefer Summer - but hey, I have much bigger things to feel gloomy about so why should I let the weather affect my smile??!
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room
