Wouldnt be the first time it was used for something, Vickers machine guns spring to mind.

It used to be used as an important chemical, when urine is fermented it forms ammonia which was an important chemical in the dying and tanning industry. (at the time that was the main use/demand for ammonia)
The popularity of the flushing toilet actually caused major urine shortages for theses industries and were in part a major factor in the development of the industrial chemical production of ammonia.
