Play.com + Delivery Tracking..

Hello all,

I live in Nottm and my local post office collection point is on "Glaisdale Drive".

I was expecting the new PES4 football game to be delivered today and it says on the play.com website

We have delivered your item
Your item with reference XXXXXXXXXX was delivered in EAST LONDON before 09:29 on 15/10/04.

Now... EAST LONDON... is MILES away from where I live... Whats going on there? Does it have to go through London first??

I've checked a previous order which says

We have delivered your item
Your item with reference XXXXXXXXX was delivered in GLAISDALE PARKWAY before 10:27 on 18/10/03.

Sounds like they've screwed up, contact their customer services dept..

they do for higher value goods but not CD's and DVD's (i think)

I've checked the order confirmation which I reveived on email and I have a tracking no.

play.com will declare an item legally dead.. i.e. lost after 15 days. If u email them then that is what they will tell you.

I just ordered a dvd and it didn't arrive. 15 days late.. so i emailed them a second time. I have now got a new one dispatched at a cost of £0.00 to me <- that looks cool in the order history I wonder when/if this one will arrive

That reminds me, I was wondering when my Tarantino box set was going to show up. Turns out they posted it on 3/10; bloody Royal Mail have nicked it by the look of things.

Well I called them on Sunday. Got straight through without any queuing! Nice one!

The guy was helpful and he said he has ordered a new one... I got the confirmation email sent to me that it had been posted on the Sunday (the same day I phoned)!

I then get a nice suprise at work today (the address it was supposed to goto).... My game has arrived!!

So maybe the people at London, on Friday, noticed the error, and sent it to my workplace! Spot on if so!

So I'm guessing that it doesnt take one night for it to deliver... does this mean that I am going to receive 2 games? ?
