MSN messenger...

I just had a stranger join my contact list! his handel was victor... The strange thing is I always get notifications when that stuff hapens... He dont know me, and I dont know him... Yet he was in my contacts! Is this a messenger screw up?

i used to have this person who just spoke spanish to me.

i cant speak spanish so they got a quick ban off my list.

some bloke added me to his list the other day & i got a notification, had no idea who he was - he added me cos he picked up my username off a forum & thought i was a member of his favorite band

unfortunately i had to disappoint him, but had a chat nonetheless, he was a pleasant enough fellow

on mine it doesn't asks for authorization or anything... and i think that happens with all MSN versions... so if someone knows your e-mail address, he can add you to his contacts and then pop you a msg.
If you don't like em, BLOCK them

There is an option somewhere that you can set to "only allow people on my contact list to contact me"

That also means random people can't add you to their conversations!

I have had this a few times . . whereby someone would appear on my contact list without asking me . .Then I would message them or they would message me and sooo far I haven't known who they are and they haven't known me or even added me. . Something must be up with msn. .
