cat scared of fireworks = mess

not had any fireworks strangely till tonight and thought nothing off it as the cats are not normally scared but tonight 1 inparticularly was acting rather odd ,well i say odd considering he meows at the ceiling most of the time its takes something special for him to look odd , any way to try and settle him i stuck him on my bed a minute l8r i smell something poo'y then i see him doing the thing they do when they've crapped trying to cover it up, so i look and yep sure enough there is a vile and sick inducing turd on my bed what makes it worse is that my bed is one of these high ones so cleaning it up is not easy

Ive had to throw my duvet away because of it , but as revenge ive chucked him outside and locked the cat flap

    --
cat toilet related incident list so far -will no doubt grow mind
    - same cat many years ago pee'd in my school bag , i didnt realise till at school
-multiple vomits on everything from bed to carpet
-vomit on head phones and dremel
    - a stage of inability to stop poo'ing , several poo balls found in various places
    - a previous sudden bout of diaorreah on my bed and bath

my cats vomit all the time, and the boy one used to pee on your pillow to mark his teratory (now he's grown out of that! thank goodness!) but they tend to cough up fur balls and stuff quite often, never any out-of-place pooing tho...

what do you feed your cat to make it need to poo where it can? do you give it enough attention and affection cause a well balanced individual wouldn't just crap randomly...oh and have you heard of a litter tray? it usually helps.

i love cats, have had loads.
hmm somthing about the have had part of that ,that makes it sound quite sinister

i dont actually think it was due to fireworks now as he was fine yesterday although he seemed off his food a bit so he may have just been a bit ill

oh and forgot to add to the toilet related incident list that my other cat used to have a habbit of peeing in a corner of the bathroom

oh and there's the farting they do aswell - silent but very deadly very very deadly

I have a cat that could best be described as a 330lb woman, in human terms.
Everytime the neighbours decide to have a fireworks display she shoots under the cupboards next to our freezer- the hole she crams into is about 6 inches high and she spreads out all her flab accross the floor to fit in. Every time she gets there we have no idea how :/

    Her expression is priceless tho

Sisters dog has a problem with fireworks. Vet gave it some drugs so the lucky thing is staggering around stoned, sits down and looks at its foot for ages

Our cat started digging in a plant pot cos he was scared of the fireworks and didn't want to go outside. I almost let him do it cos it would have been so funny to see how he would manage to sit in there. I had to take him outside and stand there with him and then he bolted inside and under my bed.
