If a file is signed by Microsoft, then that signature says it is a valid Microsoft file regardless of whether it came directly from them, or via countless third parties.

No idea mate though I can say my Creative sound card won't be playing much part in games for a while considering Creative as they did in Vista don't seem to have any working drivers and an estimated date of October! :/
