Lightbulb Poll: Shall I spoil the kids?

im sure thats how you spell spoilt but it doesnt look right *ahem* anyway I was wondering should I spoil the kids?

Ive bought the guys (3 and a half yr old twins) a bit of stuff for Xmas but Ive just spotted these in M&S

    Cool bike

they are on sale and they look fun but the wife will go ballistic - shall I buy 2 or not ?

*disclaimer* I have no intention of playing with these remote control beauties myself but I am promoting better motor control by letting the kids have them......after me...............

No contest! What's Christmas for if not spending lots of money on the little tykes! Just remember to get the wife something too to ease the damage.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

Depends, kids can expect too much especially if they have had a lot for christmas already. Surely they have enough to play with from Christmas for a while and your money would be better saved for a treat during the summer holidays or something?.

They are now 39.99 each, its a bit steep but on the other hand I only buy them for Xmas and birthdays so not too bad, besides I quite like them ..........tig very sensible advice but remote control superbikes are unlikely to be left in a cupboard for 3 months

For my youngest (three and a half) me and Shelley got him a my first Scalextric and loads of Spiderman actions figures. Its surprising how his hand eye co-ordination has been improving and he loves it. All 3 of our kids get spoilt rotten all the time (we do put our foot down however, keep them in line or they would be out of control through being spoilt). Give them a great childhood, something they will always remember and be thankful for.

If you think having a great childhood is giving them presents then think again

Our 3 dont get stuff like that all the time, its Christmas. Why not ?

Last summer we had water gun fights in the front garden (Heh Heh, my watergun was the hosepipe !) great fun was had alround. Little things like that tend to stand out, now we have had a great Christmas by spoiling them a bit, they deserve it. Only get one childhood, make it special for them
