depends what I'm driving tbh... the Landy I get no choice... the seat's all the way back... and imagine the steering wheel is close to your chin... that's how I drive that, but it's comfortabel cos there's a lot of room vertically... the Mini - the seat is a way back, but it's very upright, so I guess I have about the 100/110 degree bend...

I've been told I drive almost laying down, my seats at about the 10oclock position, arms slightly bent and when the clutch is fully depressed my legs arent straight by about 20o's....
Leant back a bit, normally I drive with one hand, and I haveta say like Raz I leave one on the stick sometimes, in town at least.
lol nice sig pic tumble.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
Leaning back a bit, got no choice tho my seat is stuck in that posistion :S
my routine for getting in a car is this:
Sit in seat, clutch down adjust seat's fore/aft position so leg is just bending slightly when pedal down.
Next, adjust seat position so I can rest my wrists on the top of the wheel, with my arms bent slightly.
I guess out of the three, it's the 100 degree jobbie (but I'm getting confused, looking at my arms and trying to work out angles - maybe I'll goto the car with a protractor....)
I is a lazy ass, give you some idea?

i would sit bolt upright, but im a tall chap so i lean it back a bit so i can see out of my windows.
Reclined but with the seat a long way back - wheel at arms length.
I'm learning so I've gotta do everything spot on else I fail Hehe
But usually the second option down.

I tend to have my chair quite far back (Long legs) but normally only have my right hand on the wheel and my left on the gear stick whilst driving through town.
When on the motorway I tend to have both my hands towards the bottom of the wheel.
I think I would find it quite difficult to get back into the "ten to two" steering grip position, that we all told to do whilst learning!
I'll poll when I find a protractor!
Leaning back a little, sort of a cross between the bolt upright and back a little, maybe 96.5 degrees?
My seat not quite all the way forward, a few clicks back cos I'm a short-arse
