at the end of the day all you need is any other cleaner out there and a bit of elbow grease instead of being a lazy muppet who wants the quick and easy 10 second spray stuff.

I really don't care about Cilit Bang and its dodgy claims, but I would take you to task on the claim that Frost is a quailty repeat.

In fact, I disagree to such an extent, I'm going to write you a strongly worded letter and also write to my local MP, and someone else's local MP. And my local MPs local MP, and if that is himself and he gets two copies... so be it!

The Cilit Bang nearly had me rolling on the floor. It's such a poor advert.

This thread had me laughing for a considerable amount of time. Thanks guys!

While we're on about false claims... "Pringle's... once you pop, you can't stop"..

Erm, actually, yes, I can. I just put the lid on and put them back in the cupboard.

Another myth blown out of the water.

All those 'freindly bacteria' drinks have some made-up name for a culture of particular bacteria. And what about RoC correction with 'Boswellox' ???
This is like the old days of advertising where a bald-headed scientist comes on and says "I'm a scientist and I use brand x" then walks off.

Whilst I'm on the subject, has anyone seen that series called 'so you think your safe?'
There's these 2 presenters, and every week it says
"And don't forget, we know what we're talking about - I'm a microbiologist and she's a pharmacologist" so what?? does that qualify you to talk with the utmost authority about toy safety? I think not. It doesn't mean jack, we haven't even got any evidence that they're telling the truth
Are the general public in this country that easy to convince on the basis of some dodgy non-science? cos if that's the case then the governemt and science teachers have utterly failed in the drive, started some years ago, to make the public more 'scientifically literate'
