Talking about Cats. Seeing an increasing number of cat pics being posted on PCMR kipping on top of the PC tower, yours do that? lol

Mine sure does. I have a top mounted h100 and the vents are angled on the top of the Evolv itx so there is a completely flat surface on the top that warms up like a gentle radiator from the h100 exhaust.

She actually gets annoyed if she jumps on top and notices it isn't warm. You can see her tail flick side to side and she reaches down and hits things on my desk. Similarly, midweek I need to be out of my computer chair by about half 10 as that is where she sleeps and she has no problems hopping up and sqeezing me out of my seat.

    She's an adorable little horror.

Nope they aren't allowed in my office, I've got a mesh-backed chair that they would destroy..! I let the dogs sleep under the desk, but they have habit of switching sockets off under there.

    Re: This Weekend?

A few years ago, we bought a particular type of carpet because the sales person advised that the cats' claws wouldn't be able to pull out the tufts. 2 weeks later, bottom step of the stairs was ruined, as were various patches around the house. They also ignored the scratching post we had. Now, those cats are dead, and we can get the carpet we want. Upside/downside.

Intriguingly we bought a new rug for our living room a few months ago and the cat hates walking on it. She's even gone as far as standing on my PC keyboard while I was gaming so she didn'ty have to put a paw on the rug. We managed to get her to put both front paws on it last night by tempting her with a Dreamie, but that's as far as she'll go, apparently...!

Had I seen this before I set off, I'd've let you all know that my plan for the weekend was to spend the entire thing in a hotel in Stockport playing board games Local convention - really good fun. Utterly knackering though.

I know the type your talking about. Our work has them, quite expensive!

I think your either lucky/unlucky with cats, as we have had several cats in my lifetime. One was more of an outdoor cat, whenever it was in house, it had never scratched at furniture or marked its territory. But when we had indoor cats, it destroyed everything lol.

I'd love a cat but unfortunately my partner is allergic.

For this reason, my doggies have their own 3-seater sofa in my office.

If the weather is nice enough some paragliding, then I've got a bunch of people coming round for some short ribs. And two veggies who can graze on the balcony plants.

    Re: This Weekend?

@Macman - I'll be gaming it up this Saturday evening! Are you on? Hopefully we can get everyone on and enjoy some gaming.

Any suggestions on what we can all play? Outside of GTA, obviously.
Do you play War Thunder or Battlefield One?

Saturday is my time with the missus, I only see her once or twice a week due to her work commitments. She travels to England a lot, which gives me ALOT of gaming time ha.

I've got War Thunder installed but not really played it yet, how do I get World of Warships as I can't see it on Steam?

Google "tofu short ribs". You can get the tofu from Tesco (or your friendly local health food shop, if you have one). Your veggie friends will love you for it.

Is there a better one than this scaryjim? http://www.isachandra.com/2016/11/to...-root-veggies/

Because honestly a cup of hoisin and 1/3rd of a cup of maple syrup isn't going to be something I'm making in my kitchen during January. Waaay too much sugars. As a tofu snob (I've made my own) I dislike the make it so you can't taste it school of veggie cooking. I'll probably make a quick shakshuka or similar for them, starter is veggie anyway.

Hopefully it'll be pretty chilled out. We're doing up our kitchen from scratch so there's currently filling being done, and they should hopefully be done soon. I really badly want to play some games but everything's just been dumped in the room with my consoles, so there's no space for me to actually sit haha

    Morning all,

Hopefully get on Wildlands tonight (thanks to Allen) and hopefully the suspension has been lifted from R*, still do not know what I've done to warrant the suspension and they are no longer replying to my tickets.

Off to the gf tomorrow, nowt planned as shes saving up for trip to NY. Anyone recommend any TV Series to get stuck into?

Sunday I'll be in town to watch the Superbowl, I need the Falcons to win and if they do, hello new AIO Cooler .
