Medium strength (i.e. 3) freshly made black coffee from cafetiere.
Or a big hit of expresso and a glass of water.

I find all the chain brands such as Starbucks, Costa etc have terrible coffee. I buy beans from Union Coffee - Revelation blend. Use them in my machine at home. Lovely coffee. In work I use instant coffee. After trying them all I have found Nescafe Alta Rica to be the nicest instant coffee. If anything beats it, I have yet to find it!

Nah, they are black shiny circular things with a groove on each side and a hole through the centre!
I deleted the original nerco-revival thread for spamvertising, but it has breathed a new aroma into the thread!
(but beaten by the same poster's bumping of "How do you make coffee" - so coffee is living up to its reputation for reviving!

Flat white (i.e. double shot in a smaller cup, taken as an Americano but with a little steamed milk).
I actually enjoyed the Starbucks Christmas blend so bought a packet (actually was BOGOF) of the stuff. I prefer Starbucks where my main drink is a mocha.
Tea is good, depends on what mood I'm in. English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Rooibos ...
I had a Costa flat white this morning - the only one I like from a coffee shop - shame Wetherspoons stopped doing it.
At home I have Rocket Fuel - I am not allowed to have 2 pints=4 teaspoons, as apparently I get "too chatty".
My friend showed me a good way of making coffee: You buy a V60 coffee maker (its basically a plastic cup with a hole in the bottom), then put a few spoonfills in filter paper and put both in the V60. Next slowly pour the hot water over the coffee and through the filter paper. Works really well, and you can control the strength.
Homemade espresso mostly. No sugar.
Cookie and creams
My favorite is a White chocolate mocha from Starbucks.
Oh the cynicism! I share it and I haven't been here very long!
On topic, I'm quite laid back with my coffee. I'll drink the instant Ringtons stuff at work, and I'll drink instant whatever when I go to a friends.
I have a cheapo coffee machine with a milk frother at home that uses ground coffee. Just means I can choose different coffees if I fancy something. For a treat there is a really nice little coffee shop not far from my flat, think Central Perk from Friends shrunk down and made cosier and you're about there, which makes a lovely latte.
normally go flat white but the misses has started to get in to Butter Coffee or Bullet proof coffee, as milk was bad so went soya and now soya is bad so butter.

So milk is bad, but butter, which is made from milk, is fine? How does that work?
Breakfast bomb, 50/50 coffee milk mix, frothed to perfection (with full fat when feeling really naughty!) with chocolate sprinkles.
Damn, 3 hours before I can leave work and go home and make one
