Company Football games

Anyone else here play football between departments in the company they are working at?. Had a great laugh last night playing the sales team last night (with myself working for Professional services).

7-a-side 30 mins each way, referee to govern the match paid for by the company. Sadly do to site visits we could only field 6 players to sales's 7.

But we still managed to stuff them 4-1, with 2 goals for myself. Everyone in the company is talking about it this morning and its a great atmosphere in work today.

Our place does Golf, 10pin bowling & Badminton. Not played footy since I left school, seeing as I'm sportingly inept.

Yeap - we've played Football against Citylink a few times ( so if you've had a driver limping up the path in the manchester/bolton area - Now you know why ) and we have a match arranged against a local "competitor" very soon ...

Yeah once a year Siemens hold an 'Inter-UK' Football and Netball tournament. This year it was held in Nottm, where I'm from, as they won it last year (before I was around). This year I helped create our team and we were knocked out in the quarter finals.

It's a great laugh, and the atmosphere at work is great with all the banter flying around It's back in Nottm this year, so I'll be donning my GK No1 shirt again this year for a team
