    Breast Cancer Awareness

Silicon wrist bands are becoming a fashion trend, and personally, i dont buy the whole "anti bullying" thing, I dont see how paying £1 for a rubber band is going to stop kids getting bullied...

HOWEVER! I do see how paying £1 for a rubber band can help in research of breast cancer to help find a cure, and show that you back the charity.

I know that breast cancer has played a part in a lot of our lives, some with happy endings, others, not so happy, and it's a very worthwhile charity to support (dont get me wrong, there are A LOT of very good charities out there!).

This is why i'm starting this thread. I am going to order some of these pink bands and i was wondering how many, if any, of you, would be interested in buying one (or more!).

The bands are £1 each with 50p p&p.

If you are interested let me know by either replying here or PMing me with the number you require and i'll get back to you.

I'm looking to order these at the weekend, so you have until 9am on Saturday 12th February.

    LIVE IN PINK
<-- in case that doesnt give it away, the bands are pink

    <edit> Payment - I accept the following:

    Paypal
    personal cheque
    Postal Order
    well diguised cash
(and maybe nochex if i can remember my login stuff! - i'll let you know if you want to use this.)

Sorry for a completely off topic post but I always wondered what those bands were, I live with my head in the sand though so I just thought they were a fashion accessory.

    3 here please.

The anti-bullying ones were free, I got ours by requesting them on the BBC website. The fashion for these bands is rampant, my eldest daughter was offered £10 yesterday by a kid at school for hers

Honoop, bank transfer would be fine, i'll PM you my details later this afternoon once i'm at home.

Mrs Dak, They are highly saught after, but i really support this charity, and i think, even if they have become a fashion accessory, the charity is still getting the money they need.

Knox, the bands are to raise awareness for various charities, they're all different colours, blue for anti-bullying, red for heart disease (another very good charity), yellow for lance armstrong foundation for cancer, etc etc

Ok, i've ordered the wrist bands, however, not everyone has paid yet, so if you put your name down saying you wanted one (or more) could you please either transfer your money or let me know how you wish to pay and i'll give you details on how.

    Thanks people.
