i alternate between a gilette mach 3 turbo and my groovy philishave coolskin (wet shave) electric jobbie. generally use king of shaves ultra mentholated gel (doesn't foam) and works well with the philishave

got a stick on mirror in the shower also (for shaving - not being kinky!) especially nice in winter as you've got an excuse to stay warm for an extra 5 mins

i used to have that problem (shaver burn)- that's why I went with the philishave. it's midrange waterproof so I get about 2 weeks worth of charge from it - and never get a rash.

gillette m3 & clearasil gel, clinuqe aloe gel is good but mucho expensive(£12-ish).; rinse your face with cold water after shaving to close your pores. The new face wash for men by clearasil (the one with the pump) is ace also use mouth-wash lots and brush your teeth and you could have a fresh face like me (touch wood) Go surfing or swimming in the sea!
    Rhyth is selling:
Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di ll LD Aspherical (IF) £230 +pp
    Canon 50mm 1.8 II £50 +pp
    Proven good copies.

Mach III and Gilette shaving gel for me too. Used to be every day or two, but have become very lazy with it since I was told I was being made redundant :S now it's once a week...
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

I also tend to shave no more than once a week. I'm using Bics ATM, but only because they are cheap, they rip my face up something rotten. I have very sensitive skin, I can't shave every day without my face flaking up. I usually use tesco's sensitive skin shaving gel.

I don't like brand new razors, I think they shave best after three or four uses (still sharp, but without the instant cuts if you're too agressive), and TBH I can get up to 20 shaves out of a blade before I think it's too blunt. Partly because I'm cheap, and partly because I genuinely don't notice much degradation.

When I was a keen cyclist, I'd migrate the blunt blades to leg shaving duty once they were too blunt for my face.

I have to use a new blade for each shave..

I use the Clinique stuff because the cost is worth it if it means not being red raw all day after shaving..!

I can't stand to be clean shaven, I've always got at least 1mm of stubble. Normally use clippers to keep it trim, never let it grow into a beard though.

    Considering a goatee. Maybe.

i use a trimmer to shave but it is getting very annoying seeing as it dosnt even shave close, so i am considering to start using a razor and gel from now on but problem is that i have acne, so i am scared that i will cut the spots and they will bleed to hell .

    what do u guys recommend?

i use the good old mach3 turbo but i keep my blades in for ages. I tend to cut myself
with new ones much more. I dont use gels and foam as i do it in the shower.

I was thinking of trying hair removal cream which takes the protein out of the hair.
and it just comes out then. Not sure if you are supposed to use it on your face though.
I think a new one for men is coming out from veet.

Wilkinson's Sword FX Diamond, Wilkinson's Sword Shaving Bowl. Tried a Quattro, but didn't get anywhere near as good results.
