Try and have a great time when you've the chance! I don't want to sound old fashioned and patronizing, but this is your last piece of freedom... Ask anyone in my age.

Doing a BSc Multimedia and Website Development at Bolton, over here.
Hopefully will be hearing on Monday about my status to do an MSc Computing Science at Birkbeck - nervewracking!
None taken I've got a good first degree from Oxford, but I want to work in IT/computing and whilst I can program in a number of languages and can strip/rebuild computers in my sleep I have no 'paper' qualifications and with the state of the jobplace at the moment I've found it very difficult to get a job at a 'good' city-type software company that offers full graduate training. Most other places want first degrees in computer science or relevant job-based experience, both of which I lack. It's a means to an end really, and Luton offered a good course and a bit of money too. I did look at the DipCompSci at Cambridge but just missed out on a place there, and given I didn't want to live at home and wanted to be close to my girlfriend in London I thought I'd give Luton a whirl.Originally posted by th3 mol3
