whew, for a moment i was worried...
The problem with this is that it reckons that it only takes your score from the four mental tests (the lines, moving objects, shapes, and word association). It reckons that men tend to do better in two of the tests and women tend to do well in the other two. If you do well in all four (...um, without wanting to sound arrogant, like me) it has no choice but to give you a score of 0.
In fact, I reckon I have a fairly male brain. The moving objects test was interesting, as it reckons: "Scientists say men tend to under perform in this task. The corpus callosum, the part of the brain that links the right and left hemispheres, is a fifth larger in women. This means women can process visual and other signals at the same time more easily than men."
Thing is though, I'm utterly crap at multitasking and I'm about as observant as Ray Charles. I did well in this test by setting it up as a memory test, along the lines of "oh, the elephant's got his hat ready to put on, and someone's put a glass of wine by the phone so they can have a long and pleasant conversation" etc. etc. Visual pattern processing didn't really come into it.
i got 0.... strange, does that make me a haemafrodite?
