Bloody hell that second one is amazing, the first looks kind of like the sunrise I managed to capture over snowdonia mountains

    B-E-A-UTIFUL!

I really like how the sun on the aircraft vapour trails, and how they reflect in the water in the first picture! I also like the darkness of the buildings (siluoettes) in contrast to the background and foreground.

However i am not too keen on the boat one, with the life buoy thing (no 6)

    V Well Done!!!

cheers mate, just keep taking pictures and you'll find a formula that works best for you - its an individual thing that you have to get a feel for...just keep at it and you'll be brilliant.

Good stuff shiato as usual... The reflections in all of the water shots are amazing - they look too good - almost like a render... And I like the boat one so don't listen to 'em

Finally got my pics up from my recent (work) trip to Paris:

You can't click through to bigger images using photobox so when (if?) I ever get the time I'll upload them to my own space as well.

Thanks. Haven't had time to play with them yet - just cropped them to frame them better but yes... I like the one of the street too... In fact it's one of the only ones I haven't cropped to frame better (god bless digital cameras and photoshop... they improve my photography 'skills' no end )

Did you ever take lessons, or teach yourself (or both) ? If you could only offer two tips to someone who wanted to become better at photography, what would they be?

    Thanks, great photos.
