Hi
how do play.com deliver? by royal mail, city link etc?
Think it just comes letter post royal mail. Dont even think its signed for.
ok thats good. if it wont fit throu letter box i can collect it easily
city link is too far away
yup its just royal mail unless its one of the dvd players or something, dunno how they deliver them, probably parcel force.
Still RM for larger items.
ok
just ordered 3 dvds for £14
Bear in mind that play.com are based in Jersey (Channel Island) and not the UK
Because they send em via letter rather than rec delivery, ppl look out for the PLAY.COM clearly marked letters ,gold mine, have had at least 4 DVDs never show up, once asked for the DVD to be spent after it never showed, that one didnt show either, 3rd DVD showed up, fair play to play.com
I ordered a copy of the same game three times from play.com due to the serial key already being used on it. I made an official complaint and they blamed it on their courier and didn't seem very interested at all.
Guys the question was how is it sent out, not how have your past experiences been.
Its my understanding that the DVD/CD retailers may be added to the trust system,. but this will be further down the line.
Please keep this on topic.
Thanks

Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Same here. I've ordered about 5 times with no problems. It's nice one day to get 5 DVD sized packages waiting for ya on the doormatOriginally Posted by Tarffie

Guess my RM employees are more honest because my play.com stuff has always turned up. Think the posty gets annoyed sometimes when you hear *plonk*, *plonk*, *plonk* etc for about five minutes as he shoves all my stuff through the door lol!
