I'm sat up in Ayr at the mo, going to Glasgow shortly, spending the night and then flying down to Newquay tomorrow morning..

The previous tennant left some stuff behind, including a 3-man tent, a series of Sharpe's novels, and this thing. I could float it down the Kennet & Avon directly to you in Bristol...

Oh no, I haven't updated my profile - I'm a lot further down another river in Exeter now. No boat delivery for me Currently in Bristol right now looking at the river mind.

I have rowed a inflatable on the river Avon when I used to live in Bath, a memorable pub trip!

But blimey - the post office! Not the most fun way to close to a fiver to move a small box for one place to another.

2 weeks ago the last of the ducks left. had a knock at the door friday and it was couple from house round the corner saying 'i think youve lost something' , looked at them puzzlingly and then heard "Quack!"

a duck had flown 5 gardens away and settled in their garden with paddling pool. so they escorted it back.
whats odd, is that it wasnt the last duck to have left. its one that left 3 weeks ago. so has been living in their garden for 2 weeks or so while they were on holiday.
i think it was also the duck that escaped once and had a walk down the road, because they said the duck seemed to know where it was going

it hasn't even attempted to fly again.

so back to having a duck again.
