    Wow that is simply amazing. SO complex to make but it really does look good! I wonder what crazy things these could become in the future? perhaps cars will have legs!

    Iver never seen anything that comes close to somthing like that. Really amazing if you think about it. The motions they go through when they walk makes them look alive imo.

    does no one see these as being a bit crummy?

    its like one of those videos is just a machine sitting there with its wings flapping, great stuff

    i like the language the bods are using though, and when he pushes tht one along, but it wont move

    Yeh the leg movement is stupidly complex, i can't believe how real it looks. I was also thinking if they had applied these techniques to robotics perhaps?

    I thought about this after seeing those clips. But then programming a robot to walk in such a natural way would take years, so far they can't do it. The Asimo took 20 years to get to where it is right now, and it has to be pre programmed to do the stuff it does.
