    Summer Nights!

Ah, good old Summer nights, huh? I know its not summer yet, but already the cold, winter nights are giving way.

Just got back from walking the dog (people on my MSN list know I'm always just in at this time, from walking the dog), but now its a nice stroll, not a trial by ice and water. I get to the pond, and there's a bloke night fishing it - had a bit of a chat, lovely. Certainly better than walking around a freezing, empty pond at night.

Getting that summer feeling now. Bring on the BBQs, not getting dark till half 9, streets not deserted by 7pm, and all that jazz.

Anyone else getting over the SAD, and getting ready for a heatwave?

Its not just the summer nights - summer days n mornings too!

Much nicer to wake up to the sun streaming through your windows, means I go to work smiling and everyone seems much happier in general.

I LOVE the summer, cant wait for it to kick in properly (well fingers crossed).....

I need the summer to test drive our new barbeque and patio set! I redid our very small garden 2 weeks ago and the weather has been rubbish since. Roll on summer

The way I know its summer is by smelling freshly cut grass. I just love that smell so much and summer memories just come flooding back. Bring on the BBQs!

Certainly is feeling more like spring. Have had a haircut and bought some shorts and new trainers in the last couple of days, just to encourage it

I sometimes feel that I live my life in summer holidays, with the working winters and springs in between just being something to get through. Certainly its felt that way recently with exams every year - I should probably try to get over it though before I realise I'm 22 :S
Still, a 4-month summer this year with just a joe-job for cash, and moving in with my gf

me too bud. The dawgs love the proper days, as I stay out with them longer. On Monday morning, 6:30 am, the sun had risen over the hills, the mist lay in the valleys of the Vale of Aylesbury, I climbed the hill outside my house and the fog lay in the bottoms of the dips like milk in puddles. The windmill nearby stretched up through the fog, and the orange bright of the dawn made me smile.

Course, the rest of the weeks been sh1te, bt that moment was ace

Not me. Hayfever, heat rash, dehydration and sweating. I don't like hot weather.

I can't wait for summer. Lazy sundays with the BBQ in the garden with my speakers out the window and a few friends round having a few beers, burgers and bangers while we're all getting a lot more vitamin D and stung by dodgy yellow and black flying evil bits

You kill me Zak, Such descriptive and eloquent use of the english language then you drop that in at the end

Personally I cant wait for the warm evenings, nothing like working out in the garage, or indeed dare I say it outside, with 'warm' tools cant stand pulling ratchets sockets out the toolbox when everything is freezing cold
