    Seems like every man and his dog is doing this now. The ones I know of are;

    • Screen Select
    • Blockbuster
    • DVD365
    • Amazon
    • Tesco
    • Chioces

Personally I use Screen Select and I am very happy with them. I have been with them for nearly a year now and they are almost faultless and have a very good selection. Most companies are using the same business model which I believe Screen Select came up with - 3 DVD's at any time, no time limit, freepost returns, online selection and recomendation system. Usually about £13-£15 a month. They just write off DVD's that are lost in the post but reserve the right to stop the service if it happens very often. I watch about 15 movies per month so it never works out more than £1 per rental.
The other day I wanted a DVD they did not have - Ren & Stimpy collection which has just come out. It's region 1, but within 2 hours of emailing them about it. they replied with a personally writen email saying "fine, no one has requested this except you but we will buy it and you will be the first to get it". You got to give 'em credit for that. You can reserve film that are not even in the cinima yet and when the come out they drop onto your list so you can set it up and just leave it for months.

I use lovefilm.com its only £9.99 a month and thats for unlimted rentals, you could have up to 15 films which is fantastic for the price, they aslo have every film ever resleased in the UK.

Yeah, i was miffed with this at first too. But when you consider a star-trek box set costs about 60quid at best, its not hard to see why

I started off on the 9.99 month free trial, and moved right to the 14.99 3 dvd one. You can do most box sets in a week that way. Provided you have time to watch them, of course

lovefilms.com is quite good from my experience. Only using my free rentals atm, but the service seems quite good and the site is easy to use.

I haven't used any other services tho.

We use lovefilm (started using it way back when it was called "DVDs on Tap")

    - Its pritty good, although ocationaly you dont get the disks at the top of you queue which can be annoying.

yeah "super size me" spent almost a month at the top of my list, untill i emailed them, then it arrived next day, and ive got my first one off my list.
    - in there email that said that they had "Prioritised" my films, so what will happen when i work though my list to the films added after the emial, who knows!

I use screenselect (staff offer so reduced rates ) and love it great thing whilst i'm at uni A nice legal way of getting films for not a lot. However if theres something we want on impluse we still trek down to choices.

Screen Select is now just £9.99 a month! Plus, if you sign up though Dixons/Currys/PC world you get the first month free.

They have merged with in-movie and are partnered with the Dixons group, which makes them the UK's biggest (and the best if you ask me).

I'm not sure if existing customers will have thier fee reduced, does anyone know? I have checked the website but can't find out. Hopefully they will email me back saying they will
