    How many posts per page?

Looking through the Ant Farm thread, i find it to be 13 pages long, 40 posts per page, easily readable.

Then gobbo replies with "i just read all 33 pages". This to me seems strange, i wanta see as many posts as possible per page to keep the thread as linear and flowing as possible.

    So whats your option?

I voted 20, but I guess 10 would be okay too. That I've seen on a lot of communitys.

I've never been bothered to change it. I've always known the option had been there, but I'm lazy .

    I shall change it now.

I didn't realise you could change it either. Have just set to 40 & voted accordingly.

This is something that annoys me at online shopping sites, etc. Using the scroll bar/wheel is so much easier than moving between pages, yet they often default to a tiny number of items per page. I don't think it helps people with low res screens, if anything they'd want to use scrolling even more!

Some sites have an option to show all on on page. I'd like that option for these forums, but I can understand why that could be a problem for the providers.

As many as possible - though it would help if the "next page" link were a bit larger.

15 is quite enough for thin clients (at the boarding houses - school). 40 would do me fine at home though.
