    Best Sub £200 Digital camera?

Looking for a new digital camera, must be easy and quick to operate, must have a cheap media usage system, also drag and drop without no extra crappy software.

Found a HP camera, ok so its a discontinued model, but I can get it with a 1GB storage card for £150. (Argos.co.uk)

£150 is the ideal sort of price range but can stretch to £200 if really worth it, must be good at close up shots and alot less grainy than my current 2.1 sony camera which has bust me thinks, any ideas folks? I need to buy it asap...TIA

You can get a 1GB Compactflash or SD card for well under £50 now from places like Aria or Ebuyer. I wouldn't get an HP TBH, they're cheap for the specification, but they're not particularly good in my experience.

The '35 range aren't that good - the 735s we have tend to take quite dark images - but the '07 range is a very different kettle of fish; the R707 is a very good camera, we use a few, as well as some of the R507s. You can get one with a dock and spare battery for under £169 inc VAT. 5MP and 3x optical zoom.

Thats for the feedback folks, I only went into Jessops today to look and they had an exclusive and did me a deal, so as I sit here I have a Canon Ixus 30. Very nice piece of kit, the lithium battery in this price bracket was a big swinger for me, not only that but the pics we took in store looked fantastic. Now to get some reviews done

Hello, I'm in the same situation as you.

I was looking at the Fuji F420, it's very good looking and the pictures look great.

Would it be possible to show me some pictures that you have taken?

    Thanks, Alex
