ebay black hole oddity

i was looking around ebay today and came across a few items offered by a user of the name 'ahf142'. on offer he had a selection of phones, digital cameras etc. so I took a look at his 'view sellers items' and there was a fairly big selection. this was maybe an hour ago.
now I just refreshed the page and its all gone! all the items had an auction time of a day but suddenly they've vanished, nothing exists. i click on the user's name and ebay throws back the reply that he/she/it is no longer registerd on ebay. wtf?
his feedback doesn't seem too bad either. I wonder what happened, was I not meant to have seen the photographic stuff that I did or was there something sinister a-foot?

It's possible that someone hijacked their account and used it to list a load of nonexistent items for the purpose of defauding a load of people. When ebay get wind they'll disable the account until it can be sorted I think.

ah...yeah sounds about right, had a look at the guy's other sells and they've been things like baseball cards and various other sporting memorabilia...not quite the phone/digicam seller then!
